Steven Bezaire — Personal Injury Lawyer and Founder
Steven Bezaire is a Personal Injury Lawyer and the founder of Bezaire and Associates. Steve was called to the bar in February 1994 and has practiced almost exclusively in the area of civil litigation and personal injury since that time. For the first four years of his career, Steve acted for insurance companies at a local firm that focused on personal injury insurance defense litigation. Through this experience, Steve learned valuable lessons about the tactics insurance companies use to deny, avoid, limit, and defend claims – lessons that have provided him with insight into the best strategies to frame and present injury claims on behalf of his clients.
Steve grew up in Windsor and attended Assumption High School. He later attended the University of Windsor where he obtained bachelor’s degrees in both English and Law. He currently lives in Belle River with his wife Heather and has two children: Abigail and Patrick. He recently completed his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Fredericton and will soon be graduating from a Master of Laws (LLM) program at Osgoode Hall Law School. When he’s not working, Steve enjoys running, drinking craft beer; eating chicken wings, hanging out with his bride and puppy dog… and (always) reading!
Renee Pickle — Legal Assistant
Renee Pickle has worked as Steve’s assistant, manager, work mother, confidante, and trusted colleague for more than 20 years! Renee is responsible for everything administrative, as well as some internal accounting.
Renee graduated St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario in 2000 from the Law Clerk/Legal Assistant Program. Renee’s areas of expertise include general office management; internal accounting, administrative work, and litigation assistant work. Renee is a huge animal lover! She lives in Harrow, Ontario with her husband and fur baby. When she is not working, Renee enjoys spending time on the golf course, basking in the sunshine in her backyard with friends, and spending time with family. Renee loves football and is a New Orleans Saints fan (but also secretly roots for the Detroit Lions as well.)
James Granger – Associate Lawyer
James received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Windsor in 2016 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2017. He attended Ryerson University for his undergraduate program where he received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Business Management.
James joined the Bezaire & Associates team in 2021 and brings with him a wealth of experience. His practice primarily consists of personal injury cases, advocating for clients involved with motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls and other incidents involving injury.
In his spare time, James stays active by golfing and running although he claims no expertise in either activity.
