Serena Dhaliwal

Serena was called to the Ontario Bar in November of 2022 and has worked almost exclusively in the  areas of personal injury law, and disability insurance law since that time.  

Born and raised in Windsor, ON, Serena received her law degree from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom in 2020.  Her decision to study law in the country where Canada’s common law originated has allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of core legal principles and concepts. During her studies, she was elected as the Student’s Union Representative and advocated for her law class cohorts’ issues of fairness and institutional democracy. This experience required her to actively advance debate and negotiations to effectively represent her peers. Additionally, during her final year of study, Serena participated in pro bono work providing free legal advice to members of the public where she was able to hone her skills effectively to interview clients and advise them appropriately.  

Serena has always firmly believed in fighting for justice. She is passionate about her legal career and prides herself on her level of dedication to each and every client.  

Apart from advocacy, Serena enjoys spending her time with family and friends, cooking new recipes, and staying active.
