Dina D'Andrea, B.A., J.D.
Personal Injury Lawyer
I was called to the bar in June 2015 and have practiced exclusively in the areas of personal injury law and general civil litigation. My career began as a summer student in 2013 at a downtown Toronto personal injury firm, where I completed my articles and worked as an associate before returning to Windsor, my hometown. Having acted exclusively for Plaintiffs for the past five years, I have become a passionate advocate for injured victims and their rightful compensation.
A native Windsorite, I received my law degree from the University of Windsor, where I volunteered at the student-run legal clinic and participated in competitive moots. Prior to this, I obtained a combined Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy at the University of Windsor; graduating with Distinction I was also on the President’s Honour Roll, the Dean’s List and was awarded the Governors Medal for the highest academic standing in the English program.
I currently sit on the Board of Directors for “Build a Dream”, a non-profit organization designed to attract, encourage, and recruit female students to pursue careers in skilled trades, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and law enforcement). I also sit on the Board of Directors for Ghostlight Players, a local theatre company. I am an active member of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra “Symphony 121” Committee (an initiative of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra that aims to bring together Windsor’s young professionals through networking, arts, and culture) and I volunteer for Windsor Lawyers Feed the Hungry and Pro Bono Students Canada.
I am a member of:
- The Law Society of Ontario
- Essex Law Association
- Ontario Trial Lawyers Association
I am a classically trained pianist and avid supporter of the arts, especially within the local community. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, music and theatre, and spending time with friends and family.
